Maintenance ordering information for Kohler 8EOZ gensets.
I originally said that when ordering the oil filter for the 8EOZ spec number 126176, not cross the part to the Yanmar part number 119660-35150 because that filter was too big and will not clear the fuel filter. However, one of the mainship group members pointed out that the filter is only held on by a single bolt. If you loosen and break the assembly free, you will be able to angle the fuel filter slightly away from the oil filter and the Yanmar filter will fit. It also may be slightly less expensive. Thus either Kohler 229678 or the Yanmar will fit once this slight modification is done.
